HOFAI COMMUNITY SCHOOLS IN ZAMBIA

 

Since 1996 Hope for Africa in partnership with local Communities, has established and is  running  seventeen (17) Community Schools catering for 3,694 Orphans and vulnerable Children and most them have never been to school and they are in School for the first time.

 

1.  Lubuto Community School is in Ndola the Copperbelt province of Zambia and it has 284 Children in level one and two with three (3) Volunteer Teacher and un trained learning in rent free Building. Volunteer Teachers are not paid a salary but supported with US$25.00 Allowance Monthly but depending on availability of funds. We also provide food through School feeding programme with the support of feed my Starving Children a Christian Organisation in U.S.A. It is hope desire to also provide food at household level, Cloths, Medical Care and Shelter.

 

2.  Mulemba Community School is in Copperbelt but in Luanshya with 168Children and two(2) Volunteer Teachers learning in rent free Church building. The needs for Children in Community Schools are some because most of them are Vulnerable Children and Never been.

 

3.   Pyuta Community School in Copperbelt in Luanshya District has 89 Children and with Two (2) Volunteer teachers learning in Baptist Church Building. The school need funds to provide Children with the on going School Feeding Programme. Each Child need food at home, Cloths and other Basic needs.

 

4.  Julius Community School is in Lusaka province and in Kafue District with 148 Children and two Volunteer teacher learning in a glass made class room. Children are mostly from poor families who can not provide Basic need such as education, Clean Water, food and Many more.

 

5.  Kabuta Community School in Copperbelt province and Chingola District has 489 with three Volunteer teacher learning in Government building but with out desks and books. Needs of Children are some as others but if helped with US$25.00 it will answer to the needs.

 

6.  Fipashi Community School in Copperbelt Province and Luanshya District has 128 Children with two Volunteers Teachers learning in a rented house. The School needs a lot of support such as Building Materials, Desks and Training of Teachers.

 

7.  Matete Community School in Copperbelt province and Luanshya District has 274 Children learning in Salvation Pentecost Church building rented at the cost of US$10.00 per Month with two Volunteer Teachers. The Monthly Support of US$25.00 will bring hope  and  motivate Volunteer Teachers.

 

8. Baptist Community School in Copperbelt Province and Chingola District has 197 Children with two Volunteer Teachers learning in rented Church building. Africa’s future lies with its Children and only few who shall survive AIDS and be able to read and write. Will the support of US$25.00 you can bring hope to the continent of Africa.

 

9.  Mutiti Community School in Luapula Province of Zambia and Mansa District has 74 Children with one Volunteer Teacher learning under the tree. Most population of the Province is concentrated around the lakes and River Valleys and Fishing is the main source of income to most Families. The largest number of the people lives  in rural areas approximately 85%.The School is about 67Km from the Government School.

 

10. Mansa Community School in Luapula Province and Mansa District has 56 Children with one Volunteer Teacher leaning on the rented building. Orphan is another category of Children not only in Mansa but in Zambia living especially difficult circumstances. As the AIDS pandemic continue to impact upon the adult population, there is concern about dependence Children.

 

11. Kaole Community School in Luapula Province and Mansa District has 150 with one Volunteer Teacher learning in the Church building.

 

12. Linda Community School in Lusaka Province and Lusaka District has 484 with two Volunteer Teachers learning in a rented Church building.

 

13. Solar Community School in Lusaka Province and Lusaka District   has 394 Children with two Volunteers teachers learning in a Donated Building.

 

14. Chilanga Community Schools in Lusaka Province has 253 Children with two Volunteer Teachers learning in a rented building with possibility of buying the Building and the 30 Acre Land.These Children need people to Sponsor them at $25.00 per Child per Month for them to meet the cost of food, cloths, Medication and school requirements.

 

15. Taukanso Community School in Lusaka Province and Kafue District has 284 Children with two Volunteer Teachers learning in a rent free Church building. The Volunteers Teachers need the month support of USS$25.00 per month and also material support for Children such as food, cloths, Medication, and other School requirements.

 

16. Mapepe Community School in Lusaka Province and Kafue District has 124 Children with Two Volunteers Teachers. Children are learning in a glass made Classroom. For Children to continue with school the monthly support of USS$25.00 for Volunteer Teachers

 

17. Lukwesa Community School in Luapula Province and Mansa District has 484 Children with two Volunteer Teachers learning in rent Free Building. For Children to continue with school the monthly support of USS$25.00 for Volunteer Teachers
