As some of you are aware, I have recently returned from Zambia, Africa. I have accepted a position as U.S.A. Coordinator and Country Director of Zambia with Hope for Africa International, and incorporated in the U.S.A. as Hope for Africa International-U.S.A. I am thrilled to link up with this wonderful Christian non-profit organization which serves orphans and street children in such countries as Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, South Africa, Nigeria, Togo, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Congo DR. Hope for Africa International (HOFAI) works to help the orphans and destitute children in all of these countries. I am the country director for Zambia where I will be working exclusively with the Zambian children, specifically with 17 different homes/orphanages/transitional houses throughout Zambia.

We have a strategic plan in place for education, specifically to start with the young girls to keep them from entering arranged marriages at an early age, and consequently entering prostitution, and spreading HIV/Aids when the marriages fail.

Unfortunately, because conditions with the object poverty, school and education are currently secondary on their minds. We first must feed these underprivileged orphans and street children before they can learn. I have started a donation fund with Feed My Starving Children in Brooklyn Park, MN to order a 40 foot shipping container www.fmsc.org with nourishing food. The food is being donated free from Feed My Starving Children, however we must provide the shipping cost which comes to about $7,000.00. We are desperately seeking your help with this shipping cost.
